Ambassadors Program
Ambassadors Program
— this has fallen a little flat the last few years.
We know people want to share their experience with the course and encourage others to apply. How do we better leverage organic outreach?
How can we create a functional but lower barrier process where Ambassadors do not have to be in our slack?
Ideas:
What's the scope of this role?
Women in Data Science Ambassadors —
A lot more involved - they organize workshops on their own, within their organization
Could focus more on fewer people, in the area that we are focused on.
Could we find ambassadors who are already engaged — then have folks work under them
The dedication comes from being a part of the org for many years.
After serving as an outreach year, they can be an ambassador
"Perk" / Prestigious opportunity
Create role descriptions and duties
How do we track the work of the Ambassador and their team?
What "perks" can we provide
Ideas/outline for any training needed
Course Specific Outreach
