Advocate and Ambassador Program

For Neuromatch Academy and Climatematch Academy
Whether you have five minutes or want to take on a more active role, you can help more people discover the Academy.
This program is open to alumni, TAs, mentors, volunteers, Impact Scholars, and anyone excited to help grow the Neuromatch and Climatematch communities.


Become an Advocate

No application required; open to all
If you’re excited to help grow the Neuromatch or Climatematch community, whether or not you’ve taken a course, you can join as an Advocate. It’s a low-commitment, flexible way to get involved. No application, no approvals. Just jump in! If you’re spreading the word, download a badge below and show it off!
As an Advocate, you can:
  • Download and share  Neuromatch Academy or Climatematch Academy posters  to put up at your university or college campus
  • Spread the word in your networks; WhatsApp groups, mailing lists, campus spaces, or local events
  •  Submit your experience to be shared on social media 
What you’ll get:
  • A digital  Neuomatch Academy Advocate badge or a Climatematch Academy Advocate badge;  just save the image and share it on social media or add to your LinkedIn profile
  • Recognition when you tag us in your social media posts
  • A simple way to give back and help someone else discover the Academies



Apply to be a 2026 Ambassador

A more visible, application-based role
Ambassadors are selected alumni, TAs, or Mentors who represent Neuromatch Academy or Climatematch Academy more visibly on campus and online. You’ll be a point of contact for others who want to learn more.
The Ambassador role runs from November 2025 to April 2026.
As an Ambassador, you will:
  •  Complete the volunteer orientation 
  • Join the #a_26-ambassadors Slack channel
  •  Put up at least two posters  at your university and send us a photo in the Slack channel
  •  Submit your experience to be shared on social media 
  • Be listed on our website with your photo and contact details
  • Answer questions from students or peers interested in applying
  • Share program info in university channels like newsletters or student groups
  • Be active on social media to boost awareness
Gold Ambassador (optional)
Gold Ambassadors go above and beyond by doing additional activities, such as:
  • Joining panel webinar(s) where prospective students can ask questions and you share your experience
  • Hosting or organizing events to promote Neuromatch or Climatematch
  • Supporting email outreach campaigns
Gold Ambassadors will receive special recognition and a Gold Ambassador badge in addition to the standard Ambassador benefits.
What you’ll receive:
  • Recognition on the Neuromatch or Climatematch website and social media
  • A digital certificate for LinkedIn for your CV
  • A digital Ambassador badge you can share on social media
  • A @neuromatch.io email
  •  Slack access to stay connected with the volunteer community 
  • Slide decks and support if you present about Neuromatch or Climatematch
  • An invite to professional development sessions in June 2026
  • Real-world experience in outreach and mentorship
