During the course, you will be using JupyterHub, which is a web-based platform for running Jupyter notebooks. In order to access JupyterHub, you will need to authenticate yourself using your GitHub account.
If you don't have a GitHub account yet, please create one by navigating to https://github.com, clicking on the "Sign Up" button at the top right corner of the screen and following the prompts.
You will be asked to provide your GitHub username in the course enrollment survey. This information is necessary so that you will be added to the appropriate team.

<li><b>Pay the course fee.</b> At Climatematch Academy, our operation depends on a wide network of volunteers with a large part of our grant going towards the payment of Teaching Assistants who devote their time to teach and support our students. Our goal is to create a globally diverse climate sciences community, trained on cutting edge techniques to access and analyze open-source modeled and observational climate data. To achieve this, we have to demand student registration fees to pay for the TAs, and CMA will cease to exist if we do not get enough funding from students who can afford to pay the full fee. Most students are able to get their registration fee paid for by their institution or employer, typically through a reimbursement program for additional training. If you don’t know how to approach this, we provide an instruction guide on our payment portal. Because payment is made through our payment portal, we cannot accept bank transfers directly from your institution. Please note that the payment process in our portal will ensure that Climatematch is affordable to you or your institution.</li>

Our means of payment is through Stripe using a credit card, Apple Pay, Cash App, Google Pay, WeChat Pay, Link, ACH, Afterpay and Klarna, etc. You will automatically be emailed a receipt for your payment from Stripe which will indicate that this payment is for Neuromatch.

If Stripe does not work for you, you can try paying with a different card or even using a VPN (in some countries it is blocked). Sometimes this works, but if you have tried these options and it is still not working, you can send an email to nma@neuromatch.io with the subject “Student Payment Problem” and include your geographic location; we may
